House Plants!

I love house plants. It is like gardening without all the extra work! I enjoy little house plants, but my favorite are large. Dumb Cane is one of my favorite large house plants. It is very appealing to the eye and does well with filtered light.

Another favorite plant of mine is Ficus Tree. I like this plant due to its happiness no matter where in the house I put it. Sunny or shady it is happy. In the bottom of my plant I have ivy growing. I haven't had the plant very long and am curious to see how this affects the plant.

The plant that I have had the longest is my Pothos plant. It is vine plant. Its vines grow to large lengths and are lush with leaves. When I fought forest fires this plant would survive the 22 days that I would be gone without watering, although I would not recommend this. It was nearly dead when I got home, but with water would always come back. It is easily trimmed and with the trimmings new plants are formed. They make great gifts too!

My Inspiration

He was the photographer at my wedding. His photos are captivating and inspire the viewer. His personality comes through in all of his work. I hope his photography is as inspiring to you as it is to me. His professional photography is phenomenal, but the photos that he takes of his son, family, and for fun are my favorite. I hope you enjoy!

Our Little Baby Boy!

Brycen Frederick was born 10/23/2010, 7lbs 11oz and 22 inches long! He was a little bundle of joy. Both Grandma's were there for his birth, which was a wonderful experience for everyone. I was in labor for 26 hours, but it was all well worth it!

After his first bath.

Sleeping under the heater. MMMM Nice and warm!

Loving on Grammy, Drew's mom.

Hanging with Grandma, my Mom.

Sleeping at home - FINALLY!

All Because Two People...You Know

Drew and I met when I was in high school and we became close friends throughout the years. The summer of 2008 I fought forest fires and when I came home it all clicked into place. He proposed in a wheat field, we married in the local theater, and had the reception in a barn. What more could you ask for? That's right a baby, but I'll post more on that later. He is the love of my life...my best friend.
